AI is fast becoming a must-have in the sales and support technology toolbox. With the right solutions and implementation, it can drive team performance, improve coaching and training, and provide a better customer experience.

Perhaps unsurprisingly then, teams are excited about the future of AI. Our recent AI Index report found that 64% of employees at small and medium-sized businesses are optimistic about AI in general. On top of that, 74% expect AI to deliver value through process automation, and 68% think it will improve customer service and support.

We’re just as excited as those teams are about the potential of AI to transform work (okay, maybe we’re even a little more excited!). That’s why, alongside launching new AI features, we’ve also recently hosted a webinar to answer burning questions about AI and share expert insights on how sales and support teams can use it to improve how they work.

If you missed it, check out the on-demand recording of the “From Talk to Text” webinar here

But if you’re more of a reader than a watcher—or you just want a sneak peek at what was discussed, along with some juicy bonus content—continue on.

Introducing Aircall’s AI Features

Aircall’s been hard at work building new AI features that enable busy sales and support professionals to excel in their roles. The first of these includes both AI-powered call and voicemail transcription, which make it easier than ever to surface insights from calls, understand interactions; reduce admin like note-taking; and build a bank of resources for training, coaching, or onboarding purposes. Let’s take a closer look at what these features can do.

Call transcription

Aircall’s AI-powered call transcription automatically provides a clearly written transcript just moments after a call ends. Rather than having to type up notes manually and log them in the right place, reps can jump straight to the next call or task, knowing that they’ve got the insights they need. What’s more, with Aircall’s integrations, those transcripts can be automatically logged into your CRM so there’s no need to swap tools.

Voicemail transcription

With AI-powered voicemail transcription, Aircall users can easily catch up on missed calls with automatically provided transcripts. Instead of listening to the full recording of a voicemail, they can simply skim a written transcript for key action items and specific terms, and then easily identify the next steps. Just as with call transcription, these notes can also be automatically saved to a preferred CRM platform for easy access.

“With Aircall transcription, we can review calls at a higher speed and easily identify when specific customer interactions take place. Being able to rapidly double-check information and find those important insights helps us to audit specific complaints, while improving the efficiency of our team.”
— Oliver Moss, Quality Assurance Specialist at FlightHub

Everything You Need to Know About Aircall’s AI Features

Before you take the plunge on a new AI solution, it’s important to understand what you’re signing up for and that it meets your needs.

If you’re interested in using Aircall’s AI solutions and want to understand the value you’d get from them, then look no further.

We’ve answered questions from our customers that have come up in webinars and other events right here so you don’t have to go hunting for answers.

1. How accurate is the transcription feature?

We continuously iterate on and improve our transcription service, but we aim for a minimum of 85% accuracy so you can be confident the right details are being captured.

2. How do the transcripts sync with an existing CRM?

If you’ve integrated Aircall with a CRM platform like HubSpot or Salesforce, you can automatically sync a link to your voicemails directly into the CRM. You’re then able to open the recording directly from your CRM’s call log. For more information, take a look at our full guide here.

3. Can you share transcriptions with other Aircall users?

Yes—you can easily share snippets of the transcript or the full transcript simply by sharing a link.

4. How long do you have access to recordings for?

Aircall keeps recordings accessible in the dashboard for six months. For older recordings, you can contact support to request access.

5. Do headsets impact quality?

We recommend using a professional stereo headset when using our service as this can provide the best call (and transcription) quality. Here at Aircall, our go-to is the Jabra Evolve 40 UC Stereo headset, which is suited to both Mac and Windows computers.

Bonus tip: A wired connection is also preferable to using Bluetooth, as it provides a more stable and reliable connection.

6. What else is on the horizon for Aircall AI?

We’re committed to AI for the long haul, and there will be plenty more innovations on the horizon, both building on our transcription features and adding entirely new AI capabilities. We’ll have more to announce soon—so keep an eye on our latest news.

“If I’m in the office and I don’t have headphones or time to listen to a call, the automatic transcriptions are so convenient. I can quickly check out what took place and escalate action items just by reading it."
— Sarah Cooper, Head of Sales Operations at CrowdProperty
