MADRID, October 6th, 2022

Aircall, a global provider of an integrated, easy to use, cloud-based phone solution, used in millions of daily customer care, sales and support calls, today announces its new office opening in Madrid. This will allow the company to keep up with growing demand in the region and recruit new talent in technology and product areas.

Aircall is the cloud-based call center and phone solution of choice for modern businesses that helps manage and streamline operations in the areas of customer service, sales and support. It improves workflows in these departments, with relevant customer data and integrations with CRM, productivity and help desk tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zendesk, Slack, Intercom and many others.

Aircall affirmed its foothold in the Spanish market with a significant 102% growth in the region in 2021, appealing to businesses across the travel, financial services, education and technology sectors. With more than 1,000 regional customers, such as Colvin, Wallbox, Spotahome or DKV Seguros, Aircall has observed a strong need for proximity and, above all, support and understanding of local challenges. With more than 60% of Spanish businesses turning to SaaS services, according to an IDC study, opening its own office in Madrid will allow Aircall to better respond to local needs, while accelerating demand in the region. The Aircall Madrid office will focus on helping more Spanish businesses scale up and interact effectively with their customers in an increasingly digital world.

As Michael Haske, CEO of Aircall, states: “Spain is a strategic market. With technology as one of the national drivers of economic growth, the speed of digitization of its companies and the unstoppable rates of investment and adoption of SaaS solutions, it is a suitable ecosystem for Aircall. If we also add their first-class technological professionals, our development in Spain is a natural step in our expansion plans.”

This move will also allow Aircall to be closer to its more than 35 local technology partners, such as Hubspot, Pipedrive, Zendesk and Salesforce, which are also strengthening their presence in the Spanish market.

Located in the Chamberí district, this hub will host a team of 80. The space is divided into five areas, designed to offer local teams and future talents the best possible working conditions, while promoting lasting memories between teams, as well as with clients and partners.

Anna Núñez, Iberia & LATAM Sales Manager at Aircall, adds: “We already had a small technology hub. We went a step further by establishing an official headquarters in Spain, where a part of our executive team is located, and where a part of the company’s technology area will be present, as well as other functions such as customer service, marketing, etc. Our purpose as a customer-obsessed company is to be closer and closer to our clients and thus we have made the decision to have more business areas in Spain”.

This new office in Madrid was officially opened last Thursday, October 6, at an event that included clients, partners, industry professionals and the Aircall team. The event, hosted by renowned digital transformation expert Juan Merodio, took place on the office’s rooftop terrace on Calle José Abascal. The speeches by Michael Haske, CEO of Aircall, and Fernando Maldonado, renowned technology analyst, were followed by a round table discussion on “The future of Voice, Customer Experience, productivity and corporate efficiency” in which Bee Digital and Galp Solar participated.

Last year, Aircall committed to expanding its European presence with local offices in key growth regions, including Spain. Despite the past two years being challenging for companies around the world, Aircall continues to invest in its customer-obsessed approach, helping companies of all sizes connect with their teams and achieve a highly personalized relationship with their clients.
